OUR OUR PROGRAMS

Administration & Office

Every organization in Alaska runs on someone who keeps it organized — and those someones are always in demand. This track builds the computer, communication, organization, and customer service skills that offices depend on, taught for real workplaces rather than classrooms. You'll practice the actual work: the software, the front desk, the phone call that goes sideways, the deadline that moves. By the end, you're not hoping you can handle an office job. You've already done one.

THE training

What You'll Learn

Training covers what real offices run on: computer skills, scheduling and organization, written and spoken communication, and customer service under pressure. Sessions are built around practice, not lectures — the software, the front desk, the difficult phone call — so the skills are proven before they're ever on a resume. Graduates leave prepared for administrative, front-office, and customer service roles in nearly any Alaskan workplace.

THE STRUCTURE

How Training Runs

Training runs within a 12–16 week cohort, built from short, stackable modules — each one a skill practiced until it's proven, then banked before the next begins. Because office skills transfer across nearly every industry, this track fits participants whose plan points indoors, and it pairs naturally with the communication and time-management work from Success Training. Case management runs alongside the whole way.

AFTER THIS PHASE

Where It Leads

Nearly every employer in Alaska — from Native corporations to clinics to contractors — needs administrative staff, which makes this the track with the widest range of destinations. Graduates step into roles where reliability and organization are the whole job.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • It's the reason the track exists. Training starts from wherever you actually are — mouse and keyboard included — and builds to the software offices use daily.

  • Not to start training. Some employers prefer one, so if it's missing, your plan can include working toward it — ask at orientation and we'll map it honestly.

  • Then you'll fit right in with most people who start this track. Customer service is practiced in low-stakes sessions until it stops being scary — and Success Training's confidence work runs alongside.

  • Nearly everywhere — offices, clinics, Native corporations, contractors, agencies. Administrative skills are the most transferable thing we teach, which means the most doors.

  • Offices hire people who are organized and dependable, full stop — every track here is open to everyone.
